Last night in the US, Hallmark Movies and Mysteries aired the latest entry in the Aurora Teagarden Mysteries movie collection. The film – the 17th entry in the popular series – was called Honeymoon, Honeymurder, and offered up a new adventure for ‘Roe’, which seemed to go down a treat with fans.

While the movie was making its debut, lead star, Candace Cameron Bure, took to Twitter to Tweet along with the new film. The actress responded to various fan questions, retweeted some posts, and got involved with the screening of the new movie.

During the course of her Tweet-a-long, it was clear that Bure was happy to answer questions related to Aurora Teagarden, which prompted one fan to ask a question to Hallmark about the future of the series. Many fans are keen to know if there will be another Aurora Teagarden movie, so this seemed like a logical question to ask.

The user said: “So, spill, @hallmarkmovie. Can you tell us if we have even ONE more #AuroraTeagarden movie to look forward to? I’m 100% invested in as many as we can get, but this last 45 minutes would be so much better with a teeeensy hint about getting another one (please).”

Although the fan probably didn’t expect a response, they certainly got one – and it was from Candace Cameron Bure herself, who fielded the question and said: “We have the next one in the queue – to film early next year!”

So, there you have it, a brand-new, Aurora Teagarden is currently in the works. The film will be the 18th entry in the series and will be filmed in 2022, with Bure back in the title role.

Bure didn’t offer up any additional details about the project, so the new movie doesn’t have a name just yet (or at least not one that is being made public), but the good news is, it is on its way. And as the movie is being filmed in 2022, it’s likely to hit screens the same year too, via Hallmark Movies and Mysteries.

Of course, that may seem like a long time to wait for the next instalment, but don’t forget, there are still 17 previous entries to return to. So, if you need another fix while you wait, you can always rewatch How to Con a Con… or Til Death Do Us Part… or Reunited and It Feels So Deadly… and so on.
