In 2013, Signed, Sealed, Delivered made its debut on TV. The Hallmark show, which followed the lives of a team of postal workers, with seemingly undeliverable mail, ran for one season, before returning as a series of movies.
The movies began with Signed, Sealed, Delivered for Christmas in 2014, then continued with new entries in 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018. The most recent movie was Signed, Sealed, Delivered: To the Altar, which made its debut on 15th July 2018.
But since the release of that movie, things have been very quiet on the Signed, Sealed, Delivered front, leading many fans to ask the question: Will there be another Signed, Sealed, Delivered movie? Well, the answer is yes – another movie has been announced.

A new Signed, Sealed, Delivered movie is currently in the works. The as-yet-untitled movie was officially announced in 2019, during the Crown Media Family Networks’ Television Critics Association Winter Press Tour.
The new movie will see stars including Eric Mabius, Kristin Booth, Crystal Lowe and Geoff Gustafson return to their fan-favourite roles as POstables, who are described as “an untraditional team of detectives (who) track down intended recipients of undeliverable mail.” According to a press release, “their missions take them out of the office into an unpredictable world where redirected letters and packages can save lives, solve crimes, reunite old loves and change futures by arriving late but somehow on time.”
Speaking about the latest instalment in the Signed, Sealed, Delivered series, Michelle Vicary, the Executive Vice President, Programming and Network Publicity for Crown Media Family Networks, said: “We’re thrilled to be able to give the devoted fans of ‘Signed, Sealed, Delivered’ a new adventure so we can continue the story of the POstables.”

Now, I know what you’re thinking: If this movie was announced in 2019, where is it? Well, the movie hasn’t materialised just yet, but this is likely to be because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
When the pandemic hit, many television shows and movies were put on hold, as filming was unable to take place. Various networks and studios are still dealing with the fallout of COVID-19, and are not quite back up to speed.
Fingers crossed, things should be back to normal soon(ish) and the movie will see the light of day.
To date, there are 11 Signed, Sealed, Delivered movies, as well as the original television series. Signed, Sealed, Delivered was created by Martha Williamson, the executive producer of Touched by an Angel.

I absolutely love the series and watch them over and over again. It is so refreshing to see a movie without the foul language, non-ending crime, etc. I am thrilled the new movie is coming out in October and hope they will continue to make new ones. In addition to the Hallmark channel, I see these ongoing movies on our Vision channel and it would be great if they could air the first (original) series.

I sure do hope since all 4 are now married that the movies keep coming. These are everyday people who make you believe. I wish there had been more to Oliver and Shane’s wedding but it ended with the 4 of them walking away. I love the characters. Oliver gave his wife a divorce kissed her good bye and went and bought a porch swing. Oh my. The perfect man.
