It’s interesting because I love Stuart Gordon and his three Lovecraft adaptations… Re-Animator, From Beyond and Castle Freak are some of my most favorites of the Bronze Age of horror. It’s also sad that he ended up leaving the horror genre because of his kids. He felt like it was inappropriate to make films his kids couldn’t watch. Which may explain his directing of Honey I Shrunk The Kids.

I guess having kids changed his priorities – it’s something we see time and time again with other directors and actors in this field. It’s great that we got the movies we did though. 🙂

Hells yes. I love the Re-Animator series. Jeff Combs is a titan in the horror genre.

He also got to play the really creepy version of the Scarecrow from Batman: The Animated Series. 🙂
