Heading to Hallmark in the not-too distant future is Redemption in Cherry Springs – a brand new mystery movie. Redemption in Cherry Springs stars Rochelle Aytes, Keith D. Robinson, Hanna Lee Sakakibara, Rajiv Sharma, and Frankie Faison and follows the story of investigative reporter, Melanie Abrams.
In the movie, Melanie teams up with a local police detective in her old home town of Cherry Springs, after she gets caught up in a worrying mystery.
The official blurb for Redemption in Cherry Springs reads as follows: “After fallout from a story, reporter Melanie (Aytes) goes home to Cherry Springs for a break. When a friend disappears, she uses her skills to get to the truth, to the local detective’s (Robinson) dismay.”
Redemption in Cherry Springs is directed by Letia Clouston, who has previously directed movies including A Christmas for the Books (2018), The Midwife’s Deception (2018) and Accidental Engagement (2016). The film is written by John Bellina and Talia Gonzalez, and was shot in Hudson Valley, New York.
Tony Glazer and Summer Crockett Moore are on producing duties, while Marguerite Henry and Judy Smith are executive producers. Casting by Judy Bowman.
Redemption in Cherry Springs makes its debut in the US on September 12th 2021 at 9pm PT/ET. The movie will air on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.
