Hallmark has unveiled a new romantic drama for the summer. The film – Aussie at Heart – makes its debut on Hallmark Channel in August, and focuses on an event planner who could find romance when she is least looking for it.

Describing the new movie, Hallmark said: “Samara, a former lawyer now event planner, reunites with Nate, her ex‑co-worker and rival, to plan a couple’s anniversary in Queensland and begin to confront their past and fall for each other.”

Rhiannon Fish takes on the role of Samara in Aussie at Heart, while Nate is played by Daniel Lissing. Fish will be familiar to Hallmark viewers, thanks to her roles in films such as When Love Springs and Nikki & Nora: Sister Sleuths, while Lissing is perhaps best known for his recurring role on Hallmark’s When Calls the Heart.

Should you wish to take a look at Aussie at Heart, the new movie makes its debut on Hallmark Channel on Saturday August 15th at 8/7c. The film is one of a number of new premieres for August, with other movies including Toast to Italy and Absolutely Devoted to You.
