Hallmark has announced a string of new movies for August 2026, including Aussie at Heart and Toast to Italy. Amongst the new movies is the romantic drama, Much About Love.

The film – a reworking of a classic William Shakespeare play – follows the story of a director who finds romance. Describing the new movie, Hallmark, said: “A TV director returns to her theatre roots for a Shakespeare festival and runs into an old flame, rekindling a merry war of wits in this modern retelling of ‘Much Ado About Nothing‘.”

Much About Love stars Ashley Williams and Niall Matter – two faces that will be very familiar to Hallmark viewers. Williams is known for films including Sister Swap: A Hometown Holiday and October Kiss, while Matter has been seen in A Rip in Time, Family History Mysteries: Buried Past, and the Aurora Teagarden Mysteries.

Should you wish to take a look at Much About Love, the film makes its debut on August 29th. Much About Love will air at 8/7c.
