Endgame is in sight – I’m now on social media lockdown

*Checks watch* In around 15 hours time I will be heading to my local cinema to watch Avengers: Endgame. This will be the longest 15ish hour wait of my life. To be fair, today has already been one of the longest days of my life. The sheer anticipation of seeing Endgame tomorrow has made today…

Revisiting She-Ra and the Princesses of Power: Season One

On Friday 26th April, She-Ra and the Princesses of Power heads back to Netflix for a second season. Ahead of the show’s return, I decided to revisit Season One to remind myself what has come before. It took me four days to work my way back through the season (hey, I’m a busy person). During…

That favour was to hold off from spoiling the plot of the movie. Rather surprisingly, most people entered into this gentleman’s agreement and refrained from posting spoilers about the…

What you need to know from The Mandalorian panel

Yesterday, The Mandalorian panel took place at Star Wars Celebration 2019. Over the course of an hour, the show’s creative team, Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni, along with cast members Pedro Pascal, Carl Weathers and Gina Carano, talked a little about the new series. Footage of The Mandalorian was shown during the panel… but alas, it was…

I watched all the MCU movies before Endgame

A while back I planned to work my way through all of the entries in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in preparation for Avengers: Endgame (in UK cinemas April 25th). Despite having plenty of time for a leisurely re-watch… …it simply never happened. So, with less than a month to go until Endgame opens in cinemas, I decided…
