If you’re a fan of holiday movies and television shows, then you’ll know Hallmark is generally considered to be the best place to go for seasonal offerings. Not only does Hallmark have stacks of festive films and top quality TV to entertain viewers throughout the festive period and beyond, but each year Hallmark Channel delivers a whole new collection of titles as part of its annual programming block, Countdown to Christmas.
And this year, as part of Countdown to Christmas 2026, Hallmark Channel has an extensive and enviable line-up of new content. From top movies to new shows, no one else is offering a packed, stacked, and totally jacked collection of holiday treats like Hallmark Channel.
It all begins in October with the release of ‘Tis the Season for Setups, starring Amanda Schull, Victor Webster, and Barbara Niven. The movie airs on October 16th as the first new entry in Hallmark’s Countdown to Christmas 2026.
Holiday Touchdown: A Bears Love Story quickly follows on October 17th, before Mr. & Mrs. Christmas arrives on October 18th.

Rounding out October is the romantic drama, Who’s Coming for Christmas? on October 30th, followed by Adopting St. Nick on October 31st. Yep, October 31st might be Halloween, but Hallmark Channel is keeping things festive.
Sliding into November and on the 5th, Hallmark Channel is serving up the premiere of Season Three of holiday favourite show, Mistletoe Murders. According to Hallmark, “Emily Lane (Sarah Drew) once again teams up with Detective Sam Wilner (Peter Mooney) to solve three new Christmas mysteries as her past collides with her present, leaving her questioning everything she believed to be true.”

A Grand Biltmore Christmas is next up on the 5th, with a cast which includes Holland Roden, Niall Matter, Andie MacDowell, James Trevena, Rachel Boston, Wes Brown, and former Star Trek star, Jonathan Frakes.
It’s then over to television for the show, The Hallmark Christmas Experience: A Hometown Holiday, which also arrives on December 5th. Hosted by Jonathan Bennett and Melissa Peterman, the show promises to lift the lid on what’s coming to Hallmark in 2027!
