It’s week 18 of Masters of the Universe: Tales from Eternia, and in this week’s episode, ‘Mini He-Man?!’, everyone’s favourite hero has big problems. Or should that be small problems?

You see, while battling a monster, Orko casts a spell to increase He-Man’s size, and well, it doesn’t quite go to plan. Instead of getting bigger, He-Man shrinks to a teeny, tiny size.

The good news is the monster presumes He-Man has simply vanished and gives up the fight. The bad news is Castle Grayskull is under attack, and He-Man now has to face Skeletor as a mini He-Man.

OK, so size-changing plot lines are nothing new for sci-fi and fantasy shows, so there’s certainly no originality in the story to this week’s episode of Tales from Eternia. Now that said, there sure is a lot of fun to be had here.

Put simply: Who doesn’t want to see a miniature He-Man fighting Skeletor, Beast Man, and Trap Jaw? And especially a mini He-Man that starts to increase in size thanks to some further intervention from Orko!

The result is one long arm here, one long leg there. It’s daft and utter nonsense, but young Tales fans should get a few laughs out of the situation, and older fans should have a smile on their faces too.

So, nothing special or amazing this week, but good ol’ fashioned wholesome fun. Plus, plenty of Orko. Hurrah!

Anyway, should you wish to take a look for yourself, this episode of Masters of the Universe: Tales from Eternia is available to watch on Mattel Adventures. Meanwhile, earlier episodes from the season are now streaming on Prime Video.

Rating: 4 out of 5.
