On your marks, and get set, for an adrenaline fuelled episode of Masters of the Universe: Tales from Eternia. Which this week shares one or two similarities with the Mad Max franchise – most notably a fast-paced ride across the desert lands.

The episode is the thirteenth entry in the series and sees Teela, Ram Man, and He-Man tearing across the dusty roads of Eternia to return home with an all-important shipment of Eternium. The Eternium is needed to power the city shields, and without it the Palace will be exposed to the threat of Skeletor.

Speaking of which, ol’ bonehead and his minions, Trap Jaw and Beast Man attack the heroes in order to steal the fuel source leading to a battle on wheels! And with Eternium being rather volatile, the situation gets rather dicey very quickly.

Ok, so Thirteen episodes into this season of Tales from Eternia, and ‘Furious Road‘ continues to deliver plenty of fun alongside an energetic story. The drama is high, as are the scenes of spectacle, and the animation is delightful too.

There’s also a brief moral message slotted into the story, about never giving up, plus we get to see the Land Shark in action! And who doesn’t want to see the Land Shark in action?

I’ve said it many times before, but it’s worth repeating: Masters of the Universe: Tales from Eternia is such a great little show. The series continues to provide short bursts of entertainment, which is suitable for all ages, and the visuals are superb.

I have no idea if the younger generation is watching the show, but I really hope they are. It’s the perfect introduction to Masters of the Universe and one which never outstays its welcome – so take a look!

Should you wish to watch Masters of the Universe: Tales from Eternia, new episodes are dropped weekly on the Mattel Adventures YouTube channel.
