From the heroic defenders of Eternia and Castle Grayskull, to the sinister miscreants of Snake Mountain, the world of Masters of the Universe is home to a colourful cast of imaginative characters. Whether they are wielding magical weapons, commanding powerful armies, or providing comic relief, each plays an important role in bringing the legendary sword and sorcery fantasy to life.
And if you’ve watched 2026’s Masters of the Universe then you’ll be familiar with many of the characters. Lots of iconic MOTU heroes and villains pop up in the film, some in key roles and others as background players.

Cameos
And the following characters appear in cameos in Masters of the Universe:
- Orko (first credit scene)
- Mer-Man (appears behind Orko in the first credit scene)

In addition to the above, a statue of Torak appears in the comic book store, the Fright Zone. Torak was an early prototype for He-Man, designed by Mattel designer Mark Taylor.
