In 1995, Species stalked its way into cinemas. The sci-fi horror movie, starring Natasha Henstridge, followed the story of an extra-terrestrial-human hybrid named Sil, who escapes from Government confinement and goes on the run.

A team of scientists go in pursuit of Sil, but they struggle to contain her. Their objective is to capture her before she mates with a human, leading to a deadly game of cat and mouse.

Although the movie received a mixed response from critics, upon release Species was a box office success, which paved the way for a series of sequels. But how many Species movies are there in total?
