Following a stint in the television show, Opposite Sex, Chris Evans started his film career in 2000 via the movie, The Newcomers. His next film came in 2001 with the spoof comedy, Not Another Teen Movie, before he appeared in the TV movie, Eastwick.

In 2005, Evans took on the role of Johnny Storm for the Marvel comic book film, Fantastic Four. This part helped to elevated his profile, and as the decade continued he took roles in such movies as TMNT, Sunshine, and Push.

Moving into the 2010s and Evans’ star status continued to rise. While his role in Fantastic Four brought him considerable attention in the previous decade, it was his involvement in Captain America: The First Avenger in this decade which really rocketed him to super stardom.

Evans played the part of Steve Rogers for multiple Captain America movies, as well as four Avengers films. All of these Marvel pictures were box office hits, and made Evans a household name.
