In 2011, US sitcom, Family Guy, aired ‘Thanksgiving’ – a Thanksgiving episode of the popular series. The episode – broadcast to coincide with the holiday season – provided the animated comedy with some timely fun, amongst all the usual hilarity from the Griffin family.
Due to the popularity of the episode, Family Guy returned to the holiday in later seasons. The inclusion of Thanksgiving episodes was not an annual event, but the holiday was celebrated on multiple occasions.
