In 1989, US sitcom, Roseanne, aired ‘We Gather Together’ – a Thanksgiving-themed episode of the popular comedy series. The episode was broadcast to coincide with the holiday season, to provide the Conners family with a bit of Thanksgiving festivities.
Due to the popularity of the episode, Roseanne returned to the Thanksgiving holiday in future seasons. And when spin-off series, The Conners began airing in the late 2010’s, this sitcom continued this tradition.
