Ever since Child’s Play hit cinema screens in 1988, the murderous doll known as Chucky has been an icon of the horror genre. He might be small in stature, but this pint-sized killer is someone you certainly wouldn’t want to cross, especially if you want to live to tell the tale.

And in addition to his creativeness when it comes to killing, Chucky also has one hell of a smart mouth. But who is the voice behind that mouth? Who is the voice of Chucky?

To date, two actors have voiced Chucky. The actors are:

  • Brad Dourif
  • Mark Hamill

Brad Dourif voiced Chucky in seven films, including Child’s Play (1988), Child’s Play 2 (1990), Child’s Play 3 (1991), Bride of Chucky (1998), Seed of Chucky (2004), Curse of Chucky (2013) and Cult of Chucky (2017).

Mark Hamill voiced Chucky in one film, Child’s Play (2019).

As for who is the best voice of Chucky? Well, I will leave that for you to decide.

What I will say is, both actors are are excellent, and both appeared in really good Chucky films.
