In late 2018, in the run-up to the summer 2019 release of Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Warner Bros. Pictures released a set of posters to promote the movie. The collection centred around the four terrifying monsters from the film, yet somehow made them all look… so damn beautiful.

The first poster showcased a fiery image featuring Rodan. Check out the drama/danger that is depicted here!

Then next poster featured Mothra. As you can see, the colour scheme used here is much cooler (temperature wise), yet no less dramatic.

Both of these posters are pretty eye-catching and certainly caught the attention of long-time Godzilla fans and Godzilla newbies alike.

The third poster (my favourite of the four) features a frightening shot of King Ghidorah! As you can see, this is an intense piece of imagery – very dynamic, very exciting.

The fourth and final poster in the set featured the title character himself, Godzilla!

Damn fine posters, right?

Now while I wasn’t a huge fan of Godzilla: King of the Monsters, I can’t help but marvel at these posters. Utilising simple, yet incredibly effective imagery, the posters make it very clear what type of film King of the Monsters is – bold, loud, and filled with menace!
