Horror sequel Halloween (2018) is continuing to slay the box office, having had another successful weekend. The movie – a direct sequel to John Carpenter’s Halloween (1978) – continues to put bums on seats scaring up more than $172 million in the process.
According to Box Office Mojo, Halloween has taken $126,075,470 at the US box office, with a further $46,000,000 coming from the international market. This puts the film’s current total to $172,075,470 from a budget of $10 million.
Still no official word on a sequel, but come on, it’s going to happen.
Still not watched it yet?
A number of cinemas will be screening both the original and the new movie as part of a double feature tomorrow. Perhaps now is a good time to venture out to your local multiplex and see what all the fuss is about.
