Below is a list of every episode of Batman: The Animated Series featuring Harley Quinn/Dr. Harleen Quinzel. This list includes episodes where Harley was the main villain, as well as episodes featuring small cameo appearances.

In total, Harley Quinn/Dr. Harleen Quinzel appeared 15 times. This breaks down into 13 main appearances and two cameos, beginning with Joker’s Favor.

Joker’s Favor

Harley’s first appearance in Batman: The Animated Series comes via the episode, Joker’s Favor. In this episode, a mild-mannered, ordinary guy gets into a traffic altercation with the Joker, which he later comes to regret.

Over the next two years, the Joker keeps tabs on the man, watching as he changes his name and moves out of the area, in an attempt to disappear from sight. Then, when the Joker has had enough of tracking his prey, he gets in touch and requests a favour.

As for Harley’s involvement in this episode, she appears as one of the Joker’s goons. Harley works for the Joker, in what could have easily been a one-off appearance, but she manages to stand out from the crowd, ensuring further appearances in the show.

Almost Got ‘Im

In Almost Got ‘Im, a collection of Batman’s most iconic foes gather together to play cards. During the course of the game, the goons trade stories about past encounters with the Caped Crusader in which they ‘almost got ‘im’.

In terms of Harley’s involvement, she is keeping tabs on another villain who is important to the story.

The Laughing Fish

In The Laughing Fish, the Joker unleashes a toxin in Gotham which poisons the fish. Harley is part of Joker’s gang and helps with his scheme.

Harley and Ivy

After a getaway from the Batman turns into embarrassment, the Joker looses his temper and kicks Harley out of his gang. Keen to prove she is more than a mere henchwoman, Harley attempts to pull off a robbery at the Gotham Museum of Natural History.

It’s here that Harley crosses paths with Poison Ivy, and the two begin to team up on a crime spree across the city. This attracts the attention of the Joker, who is less than pleased about Harley’s new career.

The Man Who Killed Batman

In The Man Who Killed Batman, the Dark Knight is seemingly killed off by a low-level criminal. Angry that he has been cheated out of the opportunity to bump off his greatest enemy, the Joker and his gang (including Harley) set out to bump off the ‘nobody’ responsible for Batman’s demise.

Trial

In Trial, all of the major villains in Gotham City, including Harley Quinn, join forces to put Batman on trial. The villains believe the Caped Crusader is responsible for all the troubles in their lives and he deserves to face a court of law, presided over by Judge Joker.

Harleyquinade

After the Joker steals a bomb, which he plans to detonate in Gotham, Batman enlists the assistance of Harley Quinn to track down the Clown Prince of Crime.

Harley’s Holiday

In Harley’s Holiday, Harley Quinn is released from Arkham Asylum after being officially declared sane. However, shortly after release, Harley gets herself into an innocent spot of bother, which escalates into one heck of a crazy situation guaranteed to send her back to prison.

Holiday Knights

Harley’s next major appearance is in the holiday-themed episode, Holiday Knights. The episode comprises three stories, with Harley appearing in the first tale set on December 22nd.

In this story, Poison Ivy puts Bruce Wayne under her spell, leading to a humorous adventure where Bruce is controlled by Ivy and Harley Quinn.

Joker’s Millions

After inheriting a fortune, the Joker suddenly becomes extremely wealthy. Meanwhile, Harley is locked up in Arkham, convinced the Joker will bust her out. However, Joker has no interest in freeing Harley and instead employs a ‘fake Harley’ as a replacement.

Girls’ Night Out

In Girl’s Night Out, Harley and Ivy team up with Livewire for the ultimate crime spree. With Batman and Superman out of town, Batgirl and Supergirl join forces to bring down this terrible trio.

Mad Love

In Mad Love, Harley Quinn’s backstory is explored, detailing how she first crossed paths with the Joker. It is a tragic tale of coercion and influence.

Beware the Creeper

And in Beware the Creeper, television news reporter, Jack Ryder is covering a story about the Joker’s origin when the Clown Prince of Crime appears, exposes Ryder to laughing gas and drops him into a vat of chemicals. Surviving the incident, Ryder is transformed into the crazed Creeper, who then sets out to get revenge against the Joker and his gang (including Harley).

Cameo appearances

In addition to the thirteen episodes listed above, Harley Quinn also appears in two additional episodes via very brief cameo appearances. The episodes include:

  • Lock-up (cameo)
  • Over the Edge (cameo)

Please note: Cameo appearances can indicate a reduced/small role in an episode, or can simply be a quick on-screen appearance that lasts mere seconds. All of the episodes which feature cameo appearances have been placed at the end of this list, as these are not Harley Quinn stories.
