In 1988, effects-driven horror movie, Pumpkinhead scared its way into cinemas. The film – the directorial debut of effects supremo, Stan Winston – featured cutting-edge creature designs but was not a huge success at the box-office.

As noted above, the first entry in the Pumpkinhead movie series made its debut in 1988. The film followed the story of Ed Harley – a widowed father who conjures up a vengeful demon to destroy an unsuspecting target. (86 mins)

Pumpkinhead II: Blood Wings (1994)

Five years after the release of Pumpkinhead, a loose sequel, Pumpkinhead II: Blood Wings arrived. In this film, a group of thrill-seeking teens resurrect the demon, kick-starting a bloody rampage. (84 mins)

Pumpkinhead: Ashes to Ashes (2006)

Movie No. 3 debuted in 2006 under the title, Pumpkinhead: Ashes to Ashes. In this movie, residents of a small community summon the demon to take revenge against a mortician. (91 mins)

Pumpkinhead: Blood Feud (2007)

The fourth entry in the series arrived in 2007, titled Pumpkinhead: Blood Feud. In this movie, two young lovers summon the demon when their relationship is threatened by their families’ feud. (95 mins)
