In 2011, author R. L. King published the novel, Stone and a Hard Place. The fantasy book followed the story of occult professor and full-time mage, Alastair Stone, as he investigated an old house with a sinister presence.
In the story, Stone is asked by a university colleague to take a look at the house – something which Stone believes will be a simple job. But the building harbours a malevolent spirit, which is on the verge of being set loose by a trio of dark mages.
Released to a warm reception from readers, Stone and a Hard Place became the first entry in the Alastair Stone Chronicles series – a collection of books revolving around Stone. This series would expand into multiple volumes over time, branching out into standalone tales and spin-off stories too.
But if you’re new to the Alastair Stone book series by R. L. King, you may be wondering what are the titles of all the books and what is the publishing order. For all those details, keep reading.
