Heading to Netflix this summer is a new animated movie called Nimona. The film – based on the best-selling graphic novel by ND Stevenson – follows the story of Ballister Boldheart, a knight framed for a crime he didn’t commit, and a shapeshifter called Nimona, who sets out to help prove his innocence.

The synopsis for Nimona (via Netflix) reads as follows: “When a knight in a futuristic medieval world is framed for a crime he didn’t commit, the only one who can help him prove his innocence is Nimona — a mischievous teen who happens to be a shapeshifting creature he’s sworn to destroy.”
