Arriving on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries very soon is the brand-new romantic drama, Rip in Time. The movie stars Torrey DeVitto, Nial Matter, and Eric Keenleyside, and follows the story of a young woman who meets a stranger, claiming to be from the past.
The official blurb for Rip in Time (via Hallmark) reads as follows: “When organic farmer Sarah meets a man who claims to be from 1787 named Rip Van Winkle Jr., she soon discovers old fashioned romantic feelings that might be just as crazy as his story.”
Playing the role of Rip in the new movie is Niall Matter, who Hallmark fans will recognise from the festive film, Never Kiss a Man in a Christmas Sweater. Other films in Matter’s portfolio include Christmas at Dollywood, Stop the Wedding, and Frozen in Love.
Meanwhile, playing the part of Sarah in Rip in Time is Torrey DeVito, who has appeared on high-profile shows ranging from Pretty Little Liars to Vampire Diaries. She has also featured in the movie, The Real Saint Nick.
Rip in Time is produced by Charles Cooper, with Cameron Johann and Brent Shields as executive producers. Cindy O’Connor is providing the music.
