In 1986, to coincide with the animated TV show, The Real Ghostbusters, Kenner produced a collection of action figures loosely based around the series. The figures included the show’s main characters – Peter Venkman, Ray Stantz, Egon Spengler and Winston Zeddemore – along with iconic ghosts such as the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man and Slimer (aka the Green Ghost).

Both the cartoon series and the toy line were big hits, leading to multiple seasons of the show and multiple waves of figures.

As someone who grew up when the show aired, I was a big fan and I had various Ghostbusters action figures in my toy box. When I got older, I parted ways with those toys, but in recent years we have reconnected.

I now have multiple Real Ghostbusters figures in my collection, some of which you will see below.
