Hey, hey, it’s another day! How is everyone doing?

At present we are keeping our spirits lifted by binge watching Sex Education on Netflix (we are currently on Season Two). If you have access to Netflix and you haven’t watched the show yet, it might be one to take a look at.

It’s a little rude in places, but Sex Education is a fun British show. Plus, it seems to be eternally sunny throughout each season – so it is good to watch something so bright and cheery.

Anyway, speaking about bright and cheery, it’s time for today’s edition of ‘Something to read when you’re bored’.

What’s in my tin?

Every day, I receive countless letters, emails, texts, smoke signals and subliminal messages asking me ‘what’s on my plate?’ I try to answer these questions as often as possible, which is why today not only am I telling you what is on my plate (see below), but I am also telling you what is in my baking tin!

Yesterday, I made flapjacks!

Feeling the need for something sweet, I rummaged in the cupboard to see what I could find. After realising we had oats, some golden syrup, brown sugar and a little bit of butter, I figured flapjacks was the order of the day.

I must admit, we didn’t have the exact quantities of everything, so I had to fudge the recipe a little, but they tasted fine!

As for our lunch, we had a small piece of pork (cut from last week’s joint), so we had roast pork and roast potatoes. We served it with carrots.

I still have a way to go before I get all of the cups, but I am pacing myself.

And finally, back in December I talked about the importance of Ru Paul’s Drag Race UK in the post… er… The importance of Ru Paul’s Drag Race UK.

If you missed the post the first time around, then why not try it on for size now. I discuss the merits of the hit Brit-show and why it touched upon a very important subject for many people in the UK.
