One of the biggest successes this past year, when it comes to film, is The Greatest Showman. Released at the tail-end of 2017, the film was a mainstay of UK cinemas throughout the first half of 2018, finding a new audience long after it should have faded out of theatres.

The film’s soundtrack album has also been a huge hit, where in the UK it has spent 43 weeks in the charts. Twenty-one of those 43 weeks saw the album sit in the No.1 position!

At present, The Greatest Showman is at No.3 in this week’s Top Ten, sitting just behind Always in Between by Jess Glynne and the soundtrack to A Star is Born. The album is doing so well, that with the exception of its first week on sale (where it entered at No.39), it has never slipped lower than No.4 on the chart!

So, if the album is a consistent seller, there’s no need for a follow-up, right?

In fact, due to the success of the The Greatest Showman soundtrack, Atlantic records is shortly set to release a new album – The Greatest Showman Reimagined. The album – due out in mid-November – will feature cover versions of all the film’s songs, from Kelly Clarkson, Craig David, Kesha, Panic! At The Disco and more.

P!nk is also one of the artists featured on the soundtrack, popping up to provide a cover of A Million Dreams.

Want to hear it?

Sure you do!

And here it is…

Pretty good, right?

Well, it’s not just P!nk that’s involved with A Million Dreams; the artist has also drafted in her daughter, Willow Sage Hart to appear on the album. Willow Sage Hart sings A Million Dreams (Reprise) and you can watch a behind the scenes video, showing the two in action, below…

The Greatest Showman Reimagined is available to pre-order now.

In the UK, the album is available from Friday November 16th.
