Sad news, folks.
Margot Kidder has passed away.
The actress, best known for playing Lois Lane in the Superman movies of the 1970s & 1980s died at her home on Sunday, at the age of 69.
Upon hearing the news, many colleagues and fans have paid tribute to the actress.
In a tweet, DC Comics said: “Thank you for being the Lois Lane so many of us grew up with. RIP, Margot Kidder.”
In addition to her roles across four Superman movies, Kidder appeared in various movies and TV shows, including The Amityville Horror (1979) and episodes of Smallville. In recent years, Kidder was a regular on the comic con circuit.

Having seen posts about her mental health issues after Lois Lane, I wish her peace. She was a favorite of mine and I’m sorry she’s left us.
