How to watch Hannah Montana in order 

In 2006, teen sitcom, Hannah Montana made its debut. The series – which starred a young Miley Cyrus – followed the story of teenager Miley Stewart who leads a double life as famous pop singer Hannah Montana.

In the series, Stewart adopts the Montana persona so she can live a normal life as a typical teen when she’s not singing. Donning a blonde wig for performances, she balances her pop personality with her regular life, navigating adolescent woes along the way.

When the first season of Hannah Montana first hit television screens it was a big hit with audiences. As such, the show’s popularity not only ensured further seasons would follow, but crossover episodes and movies too! 

Great for those who followed along with the show during its original run, but what if you are just getting into the show now? Well, don’t worry, this post can help you out.

Hannah Montana explored

OK, before we get to the all-important viewing order, let’s just do a brief run-through of the show. As noted above, Hannah Montana made its debut in 2006 with its first season, which ran for twenty-six episodes.

During the course of this first season, Hannah Montana took part in a crossover storyline with two other shows: That’s So Raven, and The Suite Life of Zack & Cody. The crossover took place midway through the season.

With the first season a hit, a second season arrived on screens in 2007. This season was slightly longer and ran for twenty-nine episodes.

During the course of the second season, a concert movie was released in 2008. The film – titled Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert – comprised footage of Miley Cyrus performing as herself and as Hannah Montana at a concert during the 2007–2008 Best of Both Worlds Tour.

A third season of the TV show then followed in 2008, this time running for thirty episodes. This season included another crossover, this time with Wizards of Waverly Place and The Suite Life on Deck.

A feature film then followed in 2009 titled Hannah Montana: The Movie. The movie saw Miley Stewart head back to her hometown of Crowley Corners, Tennessee, after her double life starts to get on top of her.

In 2010, the fourth and final season hit TV screens. Marketed as Hannah Montana Forever, this season ran shorter than all the previous seasons at just thirteen episodes.
