Due to the popularity of the episode, with audiences enjoying this dose of Thanksgiving nonsense, the writing team behind South Park decided to make Thanksgiving the subject of some future episodes. Continuing in subsequent years, South Park incorporated Thanksgiving episodes into future seasons, providing audiences with a bit of holiday hilarity.
