Cast your mind back to 1996, and you will recall popular television sitcom, Everybody Loves Raymond, aired an episode called ‘Turkey or Fish’ – a Thanksgiving instalment of the popular comedy show. The episode was broadcast to coincide with the holiday season, to give viewers a spot of Thanksgiving fun.

Due to the popularity of the episode, with audiences enjoying this little bit of holiday hilarity, Everybody Loves Raymond returned to Thanksgiving in future seasons. Continuing in subsequent years, the show featured a number of Thanksgiving episodes, making it almost an annual tradition.
