In 1995, director James Mangold wrote and directed his first full-length feature film, Heavy. The movie – starring Pruitt Taylor Vince, Liv Tyler, Shelley Winters and Debbie Harry – was a romance-drama, about an overweight cook and a waitress, who work together at a roadside diner.

Two years later, Mangold followed up Heavy with the crime thriller, Cop Land. The movie – starring Sylvester Stallone and Robert De Niro – was a high-profile ensemble drama, which told the story of widespread corruption in a New Jersey town.

Up next came the Winona Ryder and Angelina Jolie picture, Girl, Interrupted, which was soon followed by the romantic fantasy, Kate & Leopold. This was the first film in which Mangold would team up with actor Hugh Jackman, setting up a working relationship that would continue in the future.

From here on, more pictures followed, including the mind-bending mystery-thriller, Identity. Other notable films included the X-Men movie, Logan, as well as the adventure picture, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny – in which Mangold would become the first director to take over the big screen Indiana Jones movie series from regular director, Steven Spielberg.

But how familiar are you with James Mangold’s collection of feature-length movies? If you were asked to name them all how would you get on?
