Itching for a new mystery movie from Hallmark? Well, prepare to scratch that itch as a new signature movie is on its way – and it’ll be here very shortly.
The new movie is The Jane Mysteries: Inheritance Lost. The film stars Jodie Sweetin, Stephen Huszar, Danielle Smith, and Paris Jefferson, and will make its debut in May.
The official blurb for The Jane Mysteries: Inheritance Lost (via Hallmark) reads as follows: “Singer Jane DaSilva (Sweetin) inherits the family foundation which is a non-profit detective agency that helps people who aren’t able to help themselves. Jane’s Aunt Sadie (Jefferson) and Detective John Cameron (Huszar) act as her mentors as she takes on her first case surrounding a mother’s untimely death years before.
“As Jane investigates a multi-level marketing company that took advantage of her client’s (Smith) fragile mom, she realizes that digging up the past can be dangerous.”

Jodie Sweetin takes on the lead role of Jane in The Jane Mysteries: Inheritance Lost. Sweetin is known to millions of sitcom fans thanks to her role as Stephanie Tanner on ABC’s long-running comedy show, Full House.
Meanwhile, joining Sweetin on screen is Stephen Huszar as John. Huszar has many acting credits to his name, having appeared in various TV shows including The Flash, Supernatural, and Smallville, and will be familiar to Hallmark audiences thanks to roles in Glacier National: A National Park Romance and Undercover Holiday.

The Jane Mysteries: Inheritance Lost is directed by Marco Defeumia, from a script written by Neale Elizabeth Kimmel. The movie is produced by Myles Milne and Jessica Reis, with Jodie Sweetin, Beth Stevenson, Nancy Yeaman and Stan Hum as executive producers, and Rebecca Lamarche and Peter Durst as associate producers.
