In 1982, Forest Whitaker made his film debut in the movie, Tag: The Assassination Game. From here he followed up his movie acting work with appearances in films such as Fast Times at Ridgemont HighVision Quest, and The Grand Baby.

To begin with, his on-screen roles were small parts, but soon his star status began to grow as audiences took the actor to their hearts. This in turn increased his presence on the big screen, and propelled his career toward the icon he would eventually become.

Over the years, Whitaker has appeared in movies ranging from Star Wars: Rogue One to Big George Foreman: The Miraculous Story of the Once and Future Heavyweight Champion of the World. He also joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe, by taking the part of Zuri in Black Panther.

But how familiar are you with Forest Whitaker’s back catalogue of movies? If you were asked to name them all what would you say?

Well, don’t worry, because I can help. In this post you will find a list of all Forest Whitaker’s movies, presented in chronological order, starting with minor roles and bit parts in his early pictures, and running through to more substantial roles in later life.
