In 1986, low-budget slasher movie, Truth or Dare, was released direct-to-home-video. The film – directed by Yale Wilson and written by Tim Ritter – followed the story of Mike Strauber, a businessman with a history of mental illness.
Eight years after the release of Truth or Dare, a sequel called Wicked Games was produced. This was followed by further sequels, which built up the collection of Truth or Dare movies over the course of time.
