Hallmark’s long-running television series, Good Witch has concluded. The popular show came to an end last night in the US, bringing to a close to its seven-season run.

To mark Good Witch’s conclusion, Hallmark put together a short compilation video, which it shared on Twitter. The video featured seven cast members, all appearing on the video to provide a ‘thank you’ to fans.

The video began with a message from the show’s lead star Catherine Bell. The actress, who played the role of Cassie Nightingale, said: “Hi guys, I just wanted to take a moment and say thank you all so much from the bottom of my heart, for all of your love and support all these years for Good Witch. It’s been the most incredible journey.”

Katherine Barrell popped up next, to continue the thanks. The actress who played Joy Harper on the show, said: “It was such a pleasure to join this cast, I am going to miss it so much and I just want to say thank you, for coming along for the adventure and the magic and the mystery, and all the fun we’ve had.”

The third star to appear on the video was Sarah Power, Good Witch’s Abigail Pershing. Power said: “Being part of the Good Witch for the last seven years has been wonderful for so many reasons. We had the best cast, and the best crew, but most of all we had the best fans.”

The messages continued with comments from Catherine Disher, as well as a few words from Kylee Evans. In her message, Evans said “This isn’t goodbye, it’s just ‘so long for now’.”

The penultimate message came from Marc Bendavid, who played Donovan Davenport on the show. He said: “Hey there, I just wanted to say a big heartfelt thank you to the Good Witch family for welcoming me on board for the past three seasons as Mayor Donovan. It’s been an amazing ride; I made a lot of great new friends and we love you guys.”

To conclude the video, Scott Cavalheiro said: “From the bottom of our hearts, you are by far the greatest fans we could ever ask for.”

The video was posted along with the following message: “From all of us at @Hallmarkchannel and the cast of #GoodWitch, we want to thank all the #Goodies for your endless support!” The video was part of a ‘tweet-a-long’ by Hallmark, as well as some Good Witch stars, to accompany the broadcast of the series finale.

Good Witch began life in 2008 as a television movie, appropriately titled ‘The Good Witch’. The film spawned a collection of Good Witch movies, with new entries airing annually until 2014.

In 2015, the movie series was developed into a spin-off television show, which would go on to produce 76 episodes of TV. Both the series and the original movies have proved very popular for Hallmark, and while cancellation of the show has been met with sadness from some fans, Good Witch has had a very successful run.
