Between 1922 and 1976, celebrated director, Alfred Hitchcock, called the shots on a sizeable collection of movies. From Number 13 to Murder!, and from Lifeboat to Psycho, Hitchcock directed a wealth of pictures, many of which are still regarded as some of the best from their respective years.
Everyone has a favourite Hitchcock movie, and many will be able to recite the names of many of the pictures, but what are all the Alfred Hitchcock movies?
In this post I am providing a list of all the Alfred Hitchcock movies in the order they were released. So, if you’ve been itching to re-visit his pictures, this list should help you out.
Before I begin, I should mention that this list is for Hitchcock’s movies only – it does not include any of his shorts or TV work.

I watched two of Alfred Hitchcock’s movies this past week and wondered how many I actually have enjoyed watching. To my surprise I’ve seen 38 of the movies listed here. He is my favorite director!

I’m completing the Alfred Hitchcock list. there’s still a few I can’t find to watch. Most of them are before 1935. “Mary”, “Waltzes From Vienna”, “Champagne” & “The Pleasure Garden” may not be available to borrow from libraries’ networks. The collection 15-movie collection is done by TTG Direct with 3 double-sided DVD’s. has silent films with music tracks too & better transfers of movies before 1940. “Family Plot” is a mixed genre movie found on an Alfred Hitchcock masterpiece collection with “Frenzy” & some great bonus material. Making of “Psycho”, &”The Birds” & American Film Institute award of his lifetime achievement presentation.

How about his movies Harmony Heaven (1929) and Elstree Calling (1930) ?

Elstree Calling is not on the list, as Hitchcock only directed some sketches. As for Harmony Heaven, while some sites credit Hitchcock for having worked on the movie, this has also been disputed and Thomas Bentley is credited as the director.
