In 2019, lead actress Lori Loughlin was arrested in connection to the College Admissions Bribery Scandal – a conspiracy to influence undergraduate admissions at leading universities. As a result of the negative publicity, as well as the impending investigation, Hallmark cut ties with Loughlin and abruptly ended the film series.

When the series was cancelled, the majority of Three Little Murders had been filmed, but as production was not completed, the movie never aired. As such, there are 16 movies, but there could have been more.

And now you know.
