*Sigh*
Remember the Hellboy reboot that came out a few weeks ago? The reboot that I called “really shit”, with a “piss poor script” and “atrocious effects” (read my rant in full for the details).
Yeah, well not only was it incredibly bad it’s now officially a huge flop at the box office.
After five (and a bit) weeks on release, Hellboy has only taken $42,270,072 worldwide. That’s $21,903,748 at the North American box office, with the remaining $20,366,324 coming from the rest of the world.
To put things into perspective, the film cost $50 million to make and it’s yet to break even. Oh, and the $50 million budget doesn’t include marketing costs, so it’s done worse than the box office results reflect.
*Sigh*
Can we now have Ron Perlman back for Hellboy 3?

Not surprising, it was a really terrible movie.

Yep, awful movie. One of the worst I’ve seen this year.
