After many, many rumours (spanning a few years) it’s now official – Space Jam 2 is happening!
And yes, LeBron James will be the lead star. The professional basketball player – who currently plays for the Los Angeles Lakers – will be heading up the Toon Squad alongside all the classic Looney Tunes characters.
Taking to social media to break the news, James posted the following image which includes four key names – B. Bunny, L. James, T. Nance and R. Coogler – each with their own locker.
As per the names seen in the image, Terence Nance is directing, Ryan Coogler is taking on a producer role and both Bugs Bunny and LeBron James will star.
No release date just yet, but a 2021 release is currently being rumoured.
