Long before audiences got to revel in the likes of Blade (1998), X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014) and Avengers: Infinity War (2018), Marvel movies were a little thin on the ground. Of the few that did exist, pretty much all of them were rubbish and as such the following news may not may not be of interest to you.

Here goes anyway…

Marvel’s Howard the Duck (1986) has just been added to Netflix UK. Produced by Lucasfilm, the movie – based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name – stars Lea Thompson and Tim Robbins and tells the story of an alien duck and his adventures on Earth.

Both a critical and commercial failure upon release, Howard the Duck is now considered a cult movie. So, if you’re a fan who wants to revisit the film, or you’re a Marvel newbie and you want to check out the sort of Marvel movies that existed during the dark times, Howard the Duck is now available for your streaming pleasure.

You’re welcome.*

I’m sorry.*
