Mission: Impossible – Fallout opened this weekend to impressive numbers.

Bolstered by great reviews and positive word of mouth (I really enjoyed it), Mission: Impossible – Fallout took $61,500,000 at the US box office, in addition to $92,000,000 internationally. Combined, this gives the sixth Mission: Impossible movie a total of $153,000,000 for it’s opening weekend.

It should also be noted that the movie has not opened in every territory yet, according to Box Office Mojo, France, Australia, Germany and Japan don’t receive the film until this coming weekend, with Italy following on August 29th and finally China on August 31st. Once it has received a full global release expect Mission: Impossible – Fallout to really clean up at the box office.
