A ‘heads-up’ for anyone living in or around Manchester.
Today, a special charity screening of the 1985 film classic, The Goonies is taking place.
The event – which is being held at Manchester’s Vue Printworks – has been set up by the Norfolk House blood donation centre, in aid of the We Love Manchester Emergency fund. The screening will raise money to further support anyone affected by the 2017 arena bomb.
For those interested, the film is being shown at 5pm today. There’s no ticket price, the event organisers are simply asking for donations of what attendees can afford.
My understanding is that if you’ve not prebooked/reserved tickets, then they can be bought on the day from event organisers at 4pm. If you want to do this, then bring a CASH donation only.
And now you know.
