Good morning, here’s a little horror news for you…

Ewan McGregor has been cast in Doctor Sleep, the sequel to 1980’s The Shining. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actor will take on the role of Danny Torrance, the grown-up son of Jack Nicholson’s character from The Shining.

Mike Flanagan is on board to direct Doctor Sleep, which is based on a novel by Stephen King. No stranger to King’s work, Flanagan previously directed the Netflix movie, Gerald’s Game (2017) which was also based on a King story.

Trevor Macy and Jon Berg are producing.
