I’ve discussed the unique staying power of The Greatest Showman in previous blog entries, but I’ve got to come back to this subject again today because, rather surprisingly, The Greatest Showman is STILL playing in UK cinemas.
I know, crazy right?
The movie – which opened during the final days of 2017 – is still receiving screenings in the UK, six months on from its debut and over a month since it became available to purchase on home release.
I’ve just checked my local listings (see below) and the movie is playing daily until at least Thursday 14th June at the Vue cinema in Manchester.
I’ve said it before, but it’s worth repeating The Greatest Showman has been one of the true success stories of the year.

That is crazy. It has already left theatre in the United States. I love Greatest Showman. But did not realize it was still playing over in the United Kingdom.

It has been crazy-popular over here. The official soundtrack has been a chart topper for weeks and the movie has taken over $62million just from the UK alone – which is pretty impressive from us! This summer there are lots of outdoor screenings of the movie too.
