The Greatest Showman has ticked off another milestone – the movie’s official soundtrack has gone platinum.

The movie – which is STILL being shown in cinemas – has been one of the true success stories of the year, with the accompanying soundtrack mirroring this same success.

Taking to Twitter to thank everyone involved with the album’s latest achievement, The Greatest Showman‘s Hugh Jackman, said:

“On behalf of the entire @GreatestShowman team … thank you!! This platinum album and, all the success of the film, is because of you!!”

To date, The Greatest Showman soundtrack has spent 21 weeks in the UK Album Chart, with 15 of those weeks sat in the No.1 spot. It is currently at the No.2 position on this week’s chart.
