The setting for Wonder Woman 2 has been confirmed.
Get your leg warmers ready, Wonder Woman is heading to the 1980s!
Director Patty Jenkins confirmed the news during a recent presentation at CinemaCon in Las Vegas. Speaking via Comicbook.com, she said: “(Wonder Woman is an) optimistic and positive character.” She added: “This film set in the 80’s, she has to deal with the temptation of our world, and face extraordinary odds.”
Production on the as-yet-untitled Wonder Woman sequel begins next month, with a release date set for November 2019. Gal Gadot will reprise the lead role, with Kristen Wiig taking on the role of the villainous, Cheetah.

She’s the best thing about DC’s current crop of movies.

I really liked this movie. It showed how we have really moved on, how the character was in dependant and not neede. She wasn’t a side kick, she wasn’t the girlfriend of someone. Infact she was the modern women. Well done DC.

This is how movies should be. 🙂 The days of females being sidelined should have been over long ago.

To right. I remember being a child and all the movies always portrayed woman as weak. Every time they were being chased they were the ones who fell over and got caught, surprise, surprise. If they managed to get a major role somewhere along the line they would become just a side kick, but, now this is an exciting time and it couldn’t come soon enough. Onwards and upwards I say.
