This May, as families across the US get set to celebrate Mother’s Day, Hallmark Channel is preparing some top entertainment for the occasion. Throughout the month, the network is lining up a collection of new movie premieres, alongside a selection of old favourites to delight moms everywhere, all under the banner heading ‘May for Moms’.
Hallmark’s ‘May for Moms’ is a programming block which offers romance, mystery, and plenty of drama. And for 2026 it brings together five brand-new movies, ideal for moms in need of relaxation and entertainment.
Here is what is on the horizon…

Kentucky Roses
The first new movie to air on Hallmark Channel as part of ‘May for Moms’ is Kentucky Roses, starring Odette Annable and Andrew Walker. The movie centres around a greenhouse worker and a CEO, with a love story which spans generations.
Hallmark said: “A greenhouse worker and the son of Churchill Downs’ CEO form an unlikely pair, coming together to save the Kentucky Derby rose blanket and uncovering a generational love story along the way.”
Air date: May 2nd

Also premiering during May…
All’s Fair in Love and Mahjong – Starring Fiona Gubelmann, Paul Campbell, Yan-Kay Crystal Lowe, Tamera Mowry-Housley, and Melissa Peterman, All’s Fair in Love and Mahjong follows the story of a school nurse with a love for Mahjong. In the film, she becomes inspired by a contractor to take a chance on her future. Air date: May 9th

Best Served Cold: A Hannah Swensen Mystery
In Best Served Cold: A Hannah Swensen Mystery, the super-sleuth is back for a new adventure, as well as a whole new mystery. In this instalment, when a suspect in a forgery case is murdered, and the prosecutor disappears, Hannah and Chad aim to get to the bottom of the situation as soon as possible.
Air date: May 16th

True Justice: Eye for An Eye – Katherine McNamara, Markian Tarasiuk, Nikki DeLoach, and Benjamin Ayres star in this new entry in the True Justice series. And this time around, a wrongly accused mother needs an exoneration. Air date: May 23rd
Haunted Harmony Mysteries: Key to the Castle – The final new Hallmark movie for May is Haunted Harmony Mysteries: Key to the Castle. Hallmark said: “When a ghost hunter show comes to town, it’s up to Gethsemane and Eamon to solve the unexpected murder of the host, allowing the brand-new spirit to cross-over.” Air date: May 30th

Also look out for…
In addition to the five new movies airing on Hallmark Channel during May, the network will be airing a number of classic titles. Be sure to look out for To Philly with Love, The Irresistible Blueberry Farm, Two for Tee, Harvest Moon, The Wish Swap, Branching Out, A Ring By Spring, Field Day, Love of the Irish, and I’ll Be Seeing You, amongst many others.
