The Tremors movies

Tremors (1990)
As noted above, the first Tremors movie made its debut in 1990. In this film, handymen Val McKee and Earl Bassett stumble across a series of mysterious, unexplained deaths in the desert town of Perfection, Nevada.
Teaming up with seismologist, Rhonda LeBeck, they come to realise the town is under attack from worm-like creatures, later dubbed graboids, which live underground. The creatures react to sound vibrations, which alert them to the location of their victims, and when the time is right they burrow up and strike.
With the townsfolk of Perfection cut off from any help, Val, Earl, and Rhonda team up with survivalists Burt and Heather Gummer to fight back. But with numbers dwindling and the creatures becoming more deadly, the group are in for the fight of their lives. (96 mins)
Tremors 2: Aftershocks (1996)
Continuing the story in Tremors 2: Aftershocks, Earl is down on his luck and takes a job which involves exterminating graboids in Chiapas, Mexico. A little out of his depth he calls in some help from Burt Gummer.
However, they soon discover there’s something different about the graboids this time around. The worm-like creatures have transformed into bipeds, which are given the name shriekers. (95 mins)
Tremors 3: Back to Perfection (2001)
Following the events of Tremors 2: Aftershocks, Burt returns to the town of Perfection, which once again has a graboid/shriekers problem. But things become more complicated when the shriekers begin to transform again into creatures called ass-blasters. (99 mins)
Tremors: The Series (2003)
Taking a break from movies for a moment for the 13-episode tie-in television series, Tremors (aka Tremors: The Series). The series picks up after the events of Tremors 3: Back to Perfection, with Burt and the townsfolk facing new problems connected to the graboids.
Tremors 4: The Legend Begins (2004)
The clock is rewound for this next entry, which is positioned as a prequel to the first three films and the television series. The events of Tremors 4: The Legend Begins takes place in 1889, in the town of Rejection (the town which later becomes Perfection) with the story focusing on an early graboid tale featuring Burt’s great grandfather, Hiram. (97 mins)
Tremors 5: Bloodlines (2015)
Picking up the story a number of years after the events of Tremors 3: Back to Perfection and Tremors: The Series, Burt now has his own survival web series with his camera man, Travis Welker. And because Burt is successful at what he does, he and Travis are hired to travel to South Africa to tackle ass-blasters. (95 mins)
Tremors: A Cold Day in Hell (2018)
In movie No. 6, Tremors: A Cold Day in Hell, Burt and Travis travel to Canada’s Nunavut Territory to investigate an incident involving graboids. However, as they battle through this latest situation, Burt becomes aware he is sick, having been infected by a parasite. (94 mins)
Tremors: Shrieker Island (2020)
In movie No. 7, Tremors: Shrieker Island, Burt is now retired. However, he is soon pulled back into a battle with the creatures, when a game hunter starts using the graboids for a his own purposes on a private island. (98 mins)
