In 2014, Chinese animated children’s movie, Boonie Bears: To the Rescue made its theatrical debut. The film was conceived as a spin-off to the successful and long-running animated Boonie Bears television show.
Boonie Bears: To the Rescue centred its story around lead characters Vick, Briar, Bramble, and Lola. The movie mixed comedy with adventure, and became a hit with audiences.
Following the release of Boonie Bears: To the Rescue, a second movie debuted in 2015 under the title, Boonie Bears: A Mystical Winter. This in turn was followed by a third film in 2016, titled Boonie Bears: The Big Top Secret.

Due to the success of the first film, the next movie in the series – Boonie Bears: A Mystical Winter – arrived in 2015. This film revolves around the legend of a polar bear-like creature, who brings snow to the woods.
Boonie Bears: The Big Top Secret (2016)
Movie number three in the series is Boonie Bears: The Big Top Secret. In this movie, Briar is taken away from his home to join a travelling circus led by Hugo the Gorilla.
Boonie Bears: Entangled Worlds (2017)
The fourth movie in the series is Boonie Bears: Entangled Worlds. In this movie, the bears join forces with a primitive girl to expose a conspiracy.
Boonie Bears: The Big Shrink (2018)
Released in 2018, movie number five – Boonie Bears: The Big Shrink – involves a tale about pollution and the ecosystem.
Boonie Bears: Blast Into the Past (2019)
In movie number six – Boonie Bears: Blast Into the Past – the titular bears travel back to primitive times.
Boonie Bears: The Wild Life (2021)

An adventure through time and space is the order of the day for movie number ten: Boonie Bears: Time Twist.
Boonie Bears: Future Reborn (2025)
In this eleventh instalment of the Boonie Bears movie series, Briar, Bramble, and Vick are lost in the distant future. Humanity has all but gone, but a mysterious young boy has a plan to save the world (with help from the Boonie Bears, of course).
