In 2014, Hallmark Mysteries & Movies aired the crime, romance, mystery movie, Wedding Planner Mystery. The film was based on Deborah Donnelly’s novel ‘Veiled Threats’, and starred former Smallville actress, Erica Durance, alongside a cast that included Andrew Walker, Chelan Simmons, Brandon Beemer, and Rick Ravanello.
In the movie, Durance takes on the role of a wedding planner, called Carnegie Kincaid, who becomes the prime suspect in an intriguing murder and a kidnapping case. During the course of the film, Kincaid tries her best to prove her innocence, while her world is turned upside down.
The official description for Wedding Planner Mystery (via Hallmark) reads: “Carnegie Kincaid (Durance) is a wedding planner and a perfectionist in both work and romance. When a murder occurs and a bride (Simmons) is kidnapped surrounding the wedding of a prominent family embroiled in a high profile fraud scandal, Carnegie becomes a suspect.
“She is questioned by police and pursued by shady news reporter Aaron Gold (Walker). To make matters more terrifying, Carnegie is pretty certain whoever is responsible for the crime is out to get rid of her.
“As she struggles to clear her name, Carnegie is hounded by a hard-boiled detective (Ravanello) and wooed by a handsome lawyer (Beemer). With her life exploding into a whirlwind mix of danger, mystery, and romance, Carnegie begins to realize that love does not always arrive in a pretty package and that the perfect “Prince Charming” she’s been waiting for may not have her best interests in mind.”

Wedding Planner Mystery was written by Darcy Meyers, with Ron Oliver on directing duties. Oliver is no stranger to Hallmark movies, having worked on The Wedding Veil Journey, Recipe for Love, and three Picture Perfect Mysteries.
But did the director return for a Wedding Planner Mystery sequel? The simple answer is no.
To date, there is no Wedding Planner Mystery sequel. The 2014 movie is the only entry in the series.
No sequel has ever been produced, leaving Wedding Planner Mystery as a stand-alone Hallmark mystery movie. This may seem odd, as many Hallmark movies become long-running series, such as the Aurora Teagarden films, or the Hannah Swensen pictures, but there are a number of Hallmark mystery movies that are single entries.

But while Wedding Planner Mystery didn’t go on to spawn a string of sequels, its stars did continue working with Hallmark on other projects. Lead star Erica Durance has appeared in multiple Hallmark films, including Unexpected Grace, Color My World With Love, North to Home, and Open by Christmas.
Andrew Walker, meanwhile, has worked with Hallmark on films such as Debbie Macomber’s Dashing Through the Snow, Date with Love, The Perfect Catch, and Sweet Autumn, among many others. He also appears in the Curious Caterer movie series in the role of Tom Shultz.
So, while Wedding Planner Mystery produced no sequel, its cast did remain with Hallmark.

One Response to Did Hallmark produce any more Wedding Planner Mystery movies?
They don’t have no respect for Erica Durance has one of their Hallmark stars like they do with others like Alison Sweeney, Lacey Charbet , Cameron Mathison, and countless others that’s why The Wedding Planner Mystery Movie didn’t get a sequel and those idiots know that. I will always boycott them and fake Hollywood for not giving Erica Durance a chance to shine. No love for them period.
